On the 19th April 2009 Members of the 'THURROCK LIONS' & the 'BASILDON & WICKFORD LIONS'
visited the re- furbished studio at BHR1287, which was only made possible by their kind donations to Basildon Hospital Radio.
During their visit 'The Lions' presented a cheque to the station & toured the studio's.
BHR presenter Alan Newman interviewed the 'Lions' live on air,to find out what other splendid work the organisations do for the community as well as finding out the history of the charity & the work that it does worldwide'..
BASILDON HOSPITAL RADIO would like to " THANK " ' THE LIONS ' for a great day & for making it possible for the station to do the much needed upgrades to the broadcasting equipment & also for their hard work in helping out other groups in our area..
